Maintenance Services

The Maintenance Services team is managed by Toby Wuellner and supervised by Brett McFarland. The team provides maintenance and repair services for facilities across the UCCS campus, including general-funded academic and administrative buildings, auxiliary-funded student life and service facilities, and student residence halls.

Maintenance Services is responsible for a wide range of building support functions, including carpentry, signage installation and maintenance, routine repairs, patching and painting, key and lock services, and door hardware maintenance. Through proactive upkeep and responsive service, the team helps ensure that campus facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing Services

The Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing teams are managed by James Warren and are responsible for maintaining and supporting critical campus infrastructure systems.

The Electrical team maintains campus electrical systems and equipment, including interior and exterior lighting, street and parking lot lighting, electrical panels, outlets, transformers, emergency generators, classroom clocks, and other electrical devices and controls.

The HVAC and Plumbing teams maintain campus heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing systems to support safe, comfortable, and efficient building operations. These teams perform routine maintenance, repairs, system monitoring, and preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability, extend asset life cycles, and ensure the continued performance of campus facilities.

Together, these teams play a vital role in maintaining the infrastructure and building systems that support the university's academic, research, residential, and operational needs.
